Earlier last month, AIM Screening took part in the biggest HR Convention in the Asia Pacific region, the 2011 AHRI Convention, this year there were over 2,400 attendees
Our background screening facts presentation and guess the fake degree competition attracted a lot of attention to our stand. The facts presentation really got people thinking “we should do more screening on our candidates”.
Interestingly of the 100s of people who passed our exhibit only 4 guessed correctly which degree was the"real” fake!!!! The fact that the fake degree passed as real when posted along side real authentic degrees is a testimony to the sophistication and danger of Degree Mills.
Our team who provided their authentic degrees were themselves very perturbed by the results.
This convention was also a great networking opportunity, many business cards were left at our stand for the chance to win a bottle of champagne or 5 free background screens. Winners for this draw were announced earlier last month, 2 clients from Melbourne were the lucky winners.
We were pleased to take part in the 2011 AHRI convention and found this experience extremely beneficial. We hope to see you at the 2012 World Human Resources Congress named- HRIZON in Melbourne.
