ENTITLEMENT TO WORK

It is an offence under the Migration Act 1958 to knowingly or recklessly allow an individual to work, or to refer an individual to work, if they are in breach of their visa condition or working in Australia illegally. Companies in breach of this Act can face fines of up to $66,000 per illegal worker. AIM Screening, via the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC), verifies an individual’s eligibility to work in Australia and provides details of any limitations attached to their work visa.

IDENTITY – EZY ID

Verifying the identity of an individual is the foundation stone for the accurate verification of all screening. Using the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC) 100 point methodology, AIM screening verifies an individual’s identity via our electronic identity platform.

IDENTITY - PASSPORT

Where an individual resides outside of Australia, and is unable to meet the requirements of 100 point screening, AIM Screening can identify fraudulent or tampered with passports by cross-referencing the details contained within against the International Civil Aviation Organisation’s (ICAO) standards for Machine Readable Travel Documents (MRTDs).
